At the moment WarArm is in its Closed Alpha Testing phase, where some collaborators are helping us to find bugs in order to obtain a good in-game quality and stability. The early access version will be released by the end of 2016.
The new beta version of wararm, will bring a lot of improvements, even a new HUD!
This display version has been changed to a more minimalistic one to show the necessary informations to the player without taking too much space on the screen.
By using shady characters you give a simplier look to the HUD, without using additional windows to have a simple and clear visualization.
Since the stamina (a factor that influences the run of the character) has been added into the gameplay, in the bottom-right part of the hud there has been added 2 bars, with the percentage of health (red) and stamina (white).
The insertion of graphical elements don't avoid the use of numerical data, for istance, health.
On the bottom-right part of the screen, there's the map, this time with correct proportions, that allows to see the surrounding enviroment around us without occupying too much portion of the screen.
There are a lot of news in the HUD system which you will be able to see when you will play the game: warnings, notifications of kills and a lot more. You just have to try it!
The new WarArm map has two kind of environment, one which is urban decadent with a large quantity of tropical vegetation: located in brasil, close to the iconic favelas.
Guerrilla is a map of middle dimensions, that thanks to the structure, give a lot of satisfactions in the use of a big various range of tactics.
The urban zone is perfect for short range shootings, thanks to the presence of many buildings side by side, which can be used for long distance gunfire, by using the structures and the higher floors, that allows a large view, something that you need, if you want to snipe others.
The forestry zone, instead, presents an environment with plenty vegetation. Perfect for the shooting in the open and also ambush or make more sneaky actions: using the tangled wood for strategic-team actions, allows to keep under control the entire area, which is important to take back the urban sector of the map.
Guerrilla allows then not only to use of squad tactics but also some solo actions, giving to the players freedom of action.!
